Location: Minneapolis/ Twin Cities or Washington, DC
Duration: 6 months – 20 hours per week

We use the world’s waste to create solid Biocarbon for use in industrial materials, permanent carbon removal, and pollution management to reverse climate change.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Support Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing campaigns, sales operations, and customer engagement. You’ll work closely with the SVP, Commercial to drive growth, improve processes, and help tell Carba’s story to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in launching our CRM; support lead generation efforts by updating and maintaining CRM systems.

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing content (emails, social media posts, newsletters, blog updates).

  • Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and customer segments.

  • Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials.

  • Track campaign performance and prepare reports with insights for improvement.

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team (scheduling, follow-ups, contact management).

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Environmental Science, Political Science, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms).

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Passionate about climate and climate tech.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; bonus if familiar with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
